Graphics for more versions of Cross Chase!<br />
<br />
I have just managed to implement graphics in the versions of my game for some obscure 8-bit systems (not obscure to me<span class="_47e3 _5mfr" title="tongue emoticon"><span class="_7oe"></span></span>)<br />
including the Memotech MTX-512, the Jupiter Ace, the Sord M5, the
Exidy Sorcerer, the Spectravideo SVI-328, the Philips VG-5000, the Nec
PC-6001, etc...<br />

After 4 months of coding, I get some reward! My little multi-system 8-bit game gets a nice positive review in RetroGamer!<br />Fabrizio Carusohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01466846416850725055noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7231463672073788651.post-4624084189214049052017-08-21T11:50:00.000-07:002017-09-19T01:16:29.266-07:00<h2>
CROSS CHASE </h2>
For about 3 months I gave been working on a retro-programming project:<br />
create a simple enjoyable game for <u>most 8 bit computers</u>.<br />
So far I have supported: <br />
- all 8-bit Commodore computers (including the rare CBM-II and native C128 in both 40 and 80 column mode)<br />
- Apple][ and Apple//e<br />
- Atari 400/800 and Atari XL/XE computers<br />
- Oric 1 and Oric Atmos<br />
- ZX Spectrum<br />
- playable Amstrad CPC<br />
- working on VG 5000, MSX and SC 3000<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-B2xqycQ7jRc/WZsqCXP1kPI/AAAAAAAAAJ0/hvdZyXpYEdo8bESBkjBUknL07GtMc_VmwCLcBGAs/s1600/c64.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="476" data-original-width="665" height="229" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-B2xqycQ7jRc/WZsqCXP1kPI/AAAAAAAAAJ0/hvdZyXpYEdo8bESBkjBUknL07GtMc_VmwCLcBGAs/s320/c64.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The game comes in two versions:<br />
- STANDARD: for computers with more than 16k of RAM (21k is the current minimum)<br />
- LIGHT: for computers with less than 16k (13k is the current minimum)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6TMT46BnbqQ/WZssopvhZYI/AAAAAAAAAKA/gxI35abnVWIRcZlQFmPBToHVSRg6L7SpgCLcBGAs/s1600/Vic20.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="453" data-original-width="664" height="218" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6TMT46BnbqQ/WZssopvhZYI/AAAAAAAAAKA/gxI35abnVWIRcZlQFmPBToHVSRg6L7SpgCLcBGAs/s320/Vic20.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<h3>
GOAL OF THE GAME:</h3>
Escape the enemies and lure them (except for the skull) into the exposive mines.<br />
You can find a gun that can be used on all enemies.<br />
Lots of power-ups!<br />
<br />
